What is a swallowing Care Circle?

It is a shared, clinician-guided plan that helps a patient, family, and invited caregivers follow the same food, drink, preparation, strategy, and home-practice instructions.

Does Care Circle choose an IDDSI level?

No. Care Circle records the food and drink levels selected by the person's qualified clinician. It does not diagnose dysphagia or recommend a diet level.

Can several family members use the same plan?

That is the core idea. The planned family plan includes one care profile and up to five invited family members or caregivers, with clear roles and a history of important changes.

Is family access included when a clinician invites someone?

Yes. The planned clinician product includes patient and caregiver access. Families would not pay again to use a program assigned by a participating clinician.
