Why
Cymbalta is on the ISMP “Do Not Crush” list, and FDA labeling says do not chew or crush and do not open the capsule and sprinkle its contents on food or mix with liquids, because these actions might affect the enteric coating.

Ask the pharmacist about Drizalma Sprinkle, a duloxetine product whose FDA label specifically allows opening and sprinkling on applesauce.
