Fork & spoon tests

Separates Level 3 from Level 4. Scoop a forkful and watch what happens through the prongs.

• It drips slowly and continuously through the prongs → behaves like Level 3.
• It sits in a mound; a short tail may hang below the prongs but it does not keep dripping → behaves like Level 4.
• It flows straight through quickly → thinner than Level 3. Re-thicken and re-test.
