- Mashed potatoes
- Green beans
- Gravy
The Level 5 version
- 150 g moist cooked turkey meatloaf, crust removed
- 130 g smooth mashed potatoes
- 80 g carrots, cooked very soft
- 160 ml thick smooth gravy
Convert it
- Bake a moist meatloaf and reserve an interior portion without the browned outer crust.
- Mince the meatloaf to pieces no larger than 4 mm and mash any larger pieces with a fork.
- Fold in enough thick gravy that the mince holds together with no crumbling or thin liquid leaking out.
- Mash the carrots to soft 4 mm pieces and keep the potatoes smooth and moist; leave fibrous green beans off this plate.
- Fork-pressure test each component and confirm the mince fits between standard fork prongs before serving.
EquipmentMini food processor or knife, fork for measuring and testing
SLP tipThe soft center of meatloaf converts well; the dry browned edge does not, even after chopping.
Before serving: run the fork pressure test on the finished plate. Recipes guide you to a texture. Only the test confirms it.
