Vanilla Banana Breakfast

The family’s version
- Banana oatmeal
- Milk
- Cinnamon
- Chopped nuts
The Level 3 version
- 1 small very ripe banana
- 120 g fully cooked smooth oatmeal
- 180 ml milk or prescribed thickened milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- Commercial thickener as needed
Convert it
- Blend the banana, oatmeal, milk, and vanilla for at least 2 minutes until no oat flecks or banana fibers remain.
- Pass through a fine sieve and discard anything that does not pass through easily.
- Adjust the consistency according to the thickener instructions, then allow the full standing time.
- Run the 10 mL flow test and fork drip test at serving temperature. Do not add nuts, dry cinnamon, or other toppings.
